Studio Update
If you’ve been browsing my recent auction listings on eBay, you may have noticed that each piece is a little different - and that’s exactly the point. Auctions have become one of my favorite ways to share original horse artwork because they create space for spontaneity, experimentation, and connection with collectors who genuinely enjoy discovering one-of-a-kind pieces.
Variety of art styles
Many of my auction listings feature original ACEOs, paintings, small studies, expressive sketches, and minimalist horse portraits created in charcoal, pencil or acrylic. These artworks often begin as quiet moments in the sketchbook, loose ideas, emotional expressions, or observations inspired by horses and the bond we share with them. Some are detailed and refined, while others lean more toward raw energy and movement.
Auctions
One thing I enjoy about auctions is that they give collectors a chance to participate in the journey of an artwork. Instead of every piece being fixed at a gallery-style price, auctions allow people to bid based on what speaks to them personally. Sometimes a small sketch ends up finding an enthusiastic new home because someone connected deeply with the expression or mood behind it.
In Summary
If you follow my listings regularly, you’ll probably notice a mix of styles appearing over time: minimalist studies, expressive monochromatic portraits, neo expressionism paintings, impressionistic paintings, gestural studies, sketchbook-inspired pieces, and occasional experiments with composition and texture. That variety is intentional. My goal is to keep the creative process alive while offering original horse art and other art that feels personal, emotional, and authentic.
And to everyone who watches, bids, shares, or supports my artwork - thank you. Every listing helps keep the studio moving forward.
