When Cats and PCs Interact: A Cautionary Tale from the Studio

Today’s unexpected studio update: one of our cats has declared that I need a break from my desktop PC. While we were out, a stealth mission was launched… involving cat puke, a very unfortunate angle, and my PC. Despite my best efforts with vent covers and preventative measures, gravity had other plan - and so did the yak.

Yes, the graphics card took a direct hit, and I mean yak still damp, into graphic card crevices. I’m pretty sure the cat feels zero remorse. And even after cleanup, drying, and optimistic thoughts to the tech gods, the GPU seems to have passed on to that great motherboard in the sky.

For now, I’m working on my old laptop. It’s not very powerful, so I can’t do much beyond basic things, and can't stream anything, but it’ll keep the essentials going while I figure out the next steps. If things look a little quieter than usual, now you know why.
