Winter in the Studio: Revisiting My Longtime Art Series
As the temperatures drop and winter settles in, I find myself naturally drawn back into the cozy embrace of my studio. While Yggdrasil iis bundled up in his winter blanket 🐴, I’m getting bundled up in my creative processes, diving back into a series I’ve been slowly working on for a long time.
This series has always been a labor of love—something I revisit between other work, projects, and, well, life! With the quiet stillness of winter, there’s a renewed energy in the air to bring fresh ideas to this work.
Why Winter Can be Great for Creative Flow
The shorter days and longer nights create the perfect backdrop to hunker down, experiment with techniques, and reconnect with the essence of my artistic vision. It feels like a time to refine, reflect, and rediscover why I started this series in the first place.
What I’m Working On
This series celebrates the bond between humans and horses, exploring themes of connection, freedom, and trust. Each piece is an exploration of movement and emotion, captured through pencil strokes that bring these majestic animals to life.
You can expect more updates soon (maybe even a sneak peek 👀) as I work to bring these ideas into sharper focus. Until then, I’m savoring every quiet moment spent in the studio, rediscovering my creative rhythm.
