A Couple of Sketches from My Sketchbook

Flamingos. I love to draw animals. These are quick sketches, just meant to capture posture and look of subjects.I might come back to some of these sketches some other time to further refine them into full-fledged drawings.

Practicing observation skills is not the easiest of things, but I think a good skill to have.

The landscape study. In working on this study I had to practice some more patience. It was also fun to see how the layering of values affect the mood and set the tone of the scene.
