Horse Drawing - Artwork in Progress

Today I wanted to show you some pictures from the drawing I've been working the most on lately. My drawings can take quite a while to complete, and I try to infuse them with feeling and passion, always knowing that each animal has a soul.

I tend to get tired when I draw, possibly because it calms me. So, the past week or so, I've tried to make it a point to work in 30 minute blocks or less.

I don't have a smartphone, so I have to share pictures the old fashioned way. I have to take the pictures with a camera, then upload it to my laptop or computer. I don't always remember to upload it the same day, or even the next day. After it's uploaded, I try to edit the pictures for the web.

Drawing horses brings me peace and joy. It is difficult to explain. Horses have just (for what feels like always) been a strong passion of mine.

Here is another picture of the drawing. I tend to try and re-charge between each drawing session. That could be playing a computer game for a little bit (one with good horse graphics obviously) or just taking our dog for a walk.

Enjoy your day!
