New Art Supplies - Lyra Pencils!

Every so often I need to get new art supplies and the most recent pencils we bought were the Lyra graphite pencils. I had said that I would write more about the pencils in another post, and here it is.

The Lyra pencil Case - pretty isn't it? It wasn't that easy to open though, but that's mostly because I don't have big hands. It opens fine otherwise.

This is how the pencils come in the case. There is a plastic insert holding the pencils. 

The pencils weren't very easy to get out of the case. So annoying!

I tried taking them all out and removing the plastic insert. Then the pencils wobbled around too much for my liking. Argh!

I figured out an easy technique for removing the pencils though, so at least for now, I kept it the way it came. The pencils? Working great so far. Check it out below. It's an affiliate link so if you purchase via that link I do get a tiny commission.
