The Swedish Flag
Heritage and culture are important. As many of you may know, I'm Swedish-American. What you might not know is that I'm actually a true Swedish-American. I hold both citizenships. Both countries are important to me.
The other day at school, our younger son (who's really not that little anymore, he's in middle school) tried to make a graph look like the Swedish flag. When he told the teacher, she said it wasn't a flag at all, just a cross... Yeah, as you may have guessed (being that I have the subtlety of a sledge hammer), I wrote the teacher soon as I found out.
It turned out that she didn't know how the Swedish flag looked like at all. Still, if a student claims it is a certain flag (and obviously are very determined that they are correct), just be like oh okay, that's cool. Admit that you don't know and perhaps /GASP look it up! How hard is that?
For those of you who don't know what the Swedish flag looks like, here it is!
In the Studio
I'm working on concept sketches for the new series... I don't have any pictures to show of it right now, because I am going to have a lot of rough sketches which I then need to combine to other concept sketches....
