What My Studio Name Means to Me - Part 1
When we first created our company, we picked something general, something that could work for several different things… Wachtel Enterprises LLC. Later I decided to make more of a serious go at the art business. I felt like we needed to have a studio name, so we created Kanweienea Kreations. It is an official DBA (Doing Business As).
Why the Name?
Well, Kanweienea was one of my original mmorpg characters (Massive Multi Player Online Game). At the time we tried to think about lots of different names but when doing research on them, everything else was taken, or so it seemed anyways.
Enter Kanweienea Kreations. At the time I didn’t think about how difficult it might be for people to pronounce. I am somewhat of a language wiz and after all, us in the family knew how to pronounce it. Still, the name has stuck with the studio, especially since we created a DBA from it.
